Good Hair Doesn't Come From A Jar™

ADH Wet is a medium weight water based product with a non-greasy shine and the same light earthy scent as ADH Dry.  ADH Wet is less sticky than most water based pomades, to achieve more separation instead of glueing hair together, making it easier to get "pieces of hair" in a style, instead of a wall of hair. When applied sparingly it allows separation and emphasizes texture in hair, when applied liberally it firms up without getting crunchy after dry, but can be reactivated with water. It can be used liberally to sculpt a hairstyle in damp or dry hair, but ideal results are achieved when used sparingly for a finish on hair that's been thoroughly blow dried.

The product and the 4oz jar are both made in small batches in the USA.

Will ADH Wet work in my hair type?

It will "work" in any hair type. That is to say, it will make your hair look and feel different than it did before you applied the product. Will it HOLD your hair up? Maybe not. While it can do that in some hair, it's not designed to. The hold is not meant to stand your hair or remove curl, but it is enough to more or less remove fluff, piece your hair apart and stick it together for added texture and controlled separation while adding some shine. If you want your hair to stand up, or if you want to control your curl, you're not looking for a product- you're looking for a tool. A hairdryer isn't made to dry your hair, it's made to control it and change what it wants to do. See your hairdresser or barber for a lesson on doing these things. ADH Wet alone, applied to damp hair, will make your hair do little more than it does with water alone, but it will keep it there for a lot longer than water alone. Applied to dry hair it has a little more control. Expertly styled hair, though, would be blow dried thoroughly to control the hair before the product is applied- this is how ADH Wet was designed to be used. Applied very sparingly in messy hairstyles it can create a believable lived in look.

How much ADH Wet should I apply to my hair?

Start with one dime-sized amount, spread evenly over your palms until it doesn't have any thick spots. Apply in a small area, and then continue to apply dime-sized amounts to different areas until you get the look and feel in your hair that you're going for. By applying the product in small amounts like this, it will be more evenly distributed and you'll be less likely to use too much. When you've applied too much you'll find that the work you've done with the hairdryer may come undone, as the moisture from the product may loosen it up. For big separation in texturized styles, apply the product to the root of the hair then pull it through to the ends. For a smooth finish on a neat style, apply the product over the surface of the blow dried and/or flat ironed hair to tack down any stray hairs.

Does ADH Wet go into hair while wet or dry?

Either. Applied to damp hair you can get simple styles done very quickly (for racing off to work on a Wednesday morning) but for more control over your hairstyle you'll want to spend five minutes with a hairdryer to shape the foundation before applying the product for optimum results (going out to the club on a Friday night).
